Nope, it was Chris Rock telling the truth about Hollywood’s racism:
“Chris Rock followed with a racial joke, about black men getting lousy roles even in animated films. It may have been in questionable taste, but it jarred the show closer to modern times.”
I know none of us are surprised but…are you fucking kidding me?
so, “i hope there are flying monkeys in ‘gone with the wind’” wasn’t offensive and chris’ joke was? ok. my mistake.
